TEACHERS NEED RESEARCH ALLOWANCE FOR THE NEW CURRICULUM

For teachers to be able to effectively teach the new curriculum, research allowance must be provided. The reason is that teachers use their own phone credit (internet bundles) to research online everyday hence they require research allowance from the government to be able to carry out effective teaching and learning. This is due to the inability of government to provide textbooks, teaching and learning manuals for teachers and learners.

Teachers have to rely on Google, Wikipedia and other websites to find information for the new curriculum. This involves the use of internet bundles.
This activity costs teachers money, and until government provides textbooks for the new curriculum, government must provide some money in a form of research allowance to cushion teachers so they can be comfortable in teaching the new curriculum.

Besides that teachers will be reluctant in delivering the new curriculum because researching online for content for the new curriculum involves money and if it is not provided, teaching and learning in schools will be ineffective.
Kg and primary teachers humbly request from the government research allowance for the new curriculum.
